Return Policy


Wrong fit? Don't Love it?

Don't stress! We pride ourselves on Customer Service and want you to be happy with your selections! In the rare case that you don't love your pieces, we've got you covered. You have 7 days from your delivery date (as recorded by the shipping carrier) to request a return your item(s) for an exchange or store credit only. Please note, if a return is requested after the 7 day time period, it will not be accepted. 


All orders are thoroughly inspected before being shipped out and damaged items or those that do not meet our quality expectations are removed and replaced. If you receive a damaged item please contact Customer Service within 2 days (calendar) of receiving your order.

* Cancellations and refunds are not offered. Most return requests are eligible for store credit and exchanges if they meet the guidelines listed below and are not requested on ineligible/excluded items. There are no exceptions, please read the return process carefully and follow the instructions listed below.


* All requests must be approved by Customer Service before an exchange or store credit is honored.

Here is the return process:

  1. You have a 7 day (calendar) window from the delivery date of your purchase to request an exchange or store credit.

  2. If you are still within your 7 day window and would like to request an exchange or return for store credit please reach out to Customer Service and include your name and order number in the subject line.

  3. Customer Service will respond within 3 business days to confirm if your order is eligible for return.

    • Please note the 7 day window starts from the date of delivery and is based on the day you contact Customer Service with your return request. The 3 day timeframe for us to respond to your request does not impact your eligibility for a return.​

  4. An email will be sent out to confirm approval or denial your return request. If approved you will be provided with one of our return addresses.​

    • Please note that you are responsible for shipping costs.​

    • All returns are sent to P.O. Box mailing addresses, please ensure that the carrier you select is capable of delivering to a P.O. Box address. 

      • We strongly suggest that you request a tracking number for your shipment, as we are not responsible for lost  returns and will not be able to honor a return without the merchandise.​

    • You will have 3 days to return your order from the date you receive your approval email in order for the return to be honored. 

  5. Once return orders a received they will be inspected for final approval to honor the exchange or store credit. This process can take up to 72 hours. ​

    • Orders must meet the following quality guidelines for release of the exchange or store credit:​

      • Items must be unworn, unwashed, have no sign or scent of wear, and have all tags attached. *Please be careful when trying on items not to damage them in the process. ​

  6. You will be notified via e-mail on the final decision of your return request. If your return request is approved the email will also confirm your exchange item or store credit amount.

Excluded Items:

The following items are not eligible for returns or exchanges

  • Clearance items

  • Final Sale items

  • Promotional & Free Gifts

  • All accessories (purses not included)

  • Worn, scented, or damaged items (signs of wear)

  • Bodysuits, lingerie, or swimsuits

  • Shipping fees

How do I use my store credit?


You confirmation email for your return request will have instructions on how to access and apply your store credit to your next purchase. Store credit is only redeemable at Ashlan&Akard.com and applied like cash to purchases. Due to their value your are solely responsible for keeping your store credit information in a secure location to avoid use by unauthorized parties. Store credit can not be used with a discount or coupon code, and it is not transferrable, redeemable for cash, or negotiable.
